So my Capsule Zaurus project is getting a little big? Like, fake V-Pet and anime concepts big. While doing research for what kind of anime “projects” I could add to this universe, I realized something.

If the Vital Bracelet came out a year earlier, we could’ve gotten a whole anime series to promote it instead of the Digimon Adventure reboot. I’m switching arbitrary dates around for my project to explore this possibility with CZ but now I kinda want it? 

It’s not like it’s something Bandai wouldn’t want to milk- it’s so big in Japan that there’s non-Digimon DIM cards (Marvel, My Hero Academia, etc.). The Vital Bracelet Digimon have cool designs, but I feel like they’ll just get forgotten except for possibly Pulsemon. If there was an anime, that might not be the case. 

Also because of how the Vital Bracelet works, I can easily imagine the Tamers having to physically move to activate digivolutions. Was Marcus cheated out of a successor in the School of Punching Digimon? Oh! Maybe a character who activates dark digivolution by using the “shake arm really hard” cheat.

I mean we got the Digimon Dreamers manga. But it’s kinda-

Look, I don’t need like Tamers/GG levels of dark. But I would rather not have pure gag. Digimon Dreamers works for what it is, but not for a Digimon anime series IMO.

TL;DR- A Vital Bracelet anime would’ve been cool and we got cheated.

(And yes, I will remember all of this for CZ.)
